This past week has been crazy, busy. I know there are lots of people who hate (or strongly detest) the word "busy"), but that is what explains this past week.
Wednesday was Hannah's Preschool open house. Here I thought sending a second child off to school would be easier. WRONG! I almost cried while Hannah was decorating her school tote bag. Crazy, yes that is me! I am so excited for her to start school. She is excited and ready, but having two children in school. That to me makes me old and and I not willing to take on that title, YET! Tomorrow marks the first day of school. I promise to have a nice update on that event, tears and all.
Thursday was "get the house perfect daddy is coming home" day. The girls and I cleaned together. I had helpers "cleaning" the toilets, dusting and cleaning their room. Having them at an age where they can help and are still willing to help is a blessing. LOVE IT! Chad rolled into town after the girls were in bed and I "think" he felt like it was home.
Madison got her "wish" to have daddy walk her to the bus and walk her home on Friday. I was NOT ALLOWED to go with them to the bus stop. She wanted to show daddy the routine.
The weekend consisted of trips to the zoo, getting the oil changed in the vehicles, the garage cleaned out, boxes sorted, closets finished, pictures hung, going to church, dinner with Chad's boss and wife, and FAMILY TIME!
I can not wait for the next three days to fly by, then we are off to see Chad finish what he started in February 2008 and move onto a new adventure in his career... oh and for us to live in the same state again! ;o)
Now, time for bed. Tomorrow comes my new schedule... hang on!
