We finally made it to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk.
It was a chilly start to the day, but that did not stop us from exploring the animals and gardens.
I learned. saw something new! A giraffe sitting down. It was so crazy how many ways their legs, neck and hind-end bend.
Hannah loved all the animals, but really loved seeing the black bear up close since she is mommy's "bear" and all.
Madison loved the monkeys and "talked" to them to get their attention.
Lillian like everything, but most of all the elephants.
