Christmas Excitiment

With only a few days until Christmas, our girls are bouncing off the walls. The anticipation for Christmas treats, presents and a "Happy Birthday, Jesus" cake and party is almost too much to handle for their little minds.
Madison has had a count down since the 20th. Each day she tells me all about how one more finger gets to go down and she is that much closer to her pinkie finger which means Christmas. This morning she asked if she could put two fingers down so it could be ONE day not TWO days away.
Seeing the twinkle in their eyes amazes me. That same twinkle was in our eyes years ago and is BACK for us just seeing our girls so excited. I never thought Christmas could be as great as when I was a child, but this year I am seeing how marvelous and inspiring it is to see that joy in your own children.
As the next two days quickly come and go, I look forward to the chaos and bounces, because once Christmas is done all I have left is the cold winter days with three girls who want to not be stuck in the house.
