This weekend I realized how grown up my girls are getting!
Madison had two birthday parties to attend this weekend. The first was on Saturday afternoon. For the first time ever I j
ust dropped her off and she stayed and I left! I know, I leave her at school everyday, but at another friend's house, with me not there! That was a first. It was a strange feeling. She did great and the mom said they were shocked how good of manners she had! (That's my girl!!!)
Sunday was Madison's closest friend from school's party. It was a princess dance party at an actual dance studio. Can you say MAJOR hit!!! Once again I took her in and then left. And... she was commented on how good her manners were. :o)
While Madison was at the party Chad and I took Hannah and Lillian out to eat. It was strange. It was like we took a step back in time two years! Hannah acted like the big sister (for a change) and Lillian sat in the high chair, flirted with
the wait staff and ate all the bread, fries and anything else in reach! All this made me think, how did Madison get old enough to go to birthday parties without me, Hannah old enough to be in the big sister role and Lillian old enough to sit in a high chair and eat table food. YIKES!
My girls are getting so much bigger. BUT, I can say that I love it!!! Chad and I are excited to see our girls grow and change into young ladies and be there with them in their adventures. However, it is a bit scary and FAST if you ask me.
