A daddy always keeps his promises.
After some HARD work, Madison earned a trip to get her ears pierced. As mommy, I was scared and hesitant. I was not ready for her to be that much closer to being a big girl, but I would not let my silly emotions ruin the excitement for Madison.
It was a family affair. Daddy was home a little early from work and we all had an early supper... then it was off to the mall to get the reward.
She had her choice of "diamonds" or her birth stone. Of course she wanted to be LIKE MOMMY! (See I have a little something special... right? Even if she is a big Daddy's girl and wants to be like him ALL THE TIME!)
Madison had "Bee" with her for support, mommy, daddy, her sisters and a crowd in the store to watch. After it was all said and done all we heard from her was, "Ouch! That hurts!" Then she looked up, smiled and wanted to know if they were in her ears. Silly girl.
The moment she looked up with those earrings she looked so much older. Miss Madison is growing up. A mommy does not have to be "excited" about that does she?

How exciting! Something she will never forget, I'm sure.
So I want to know what she had to do for this... :)
She had to stop chewing her nails for a long period of time and have a helping attitude.
