A Day Away

Saturday, Chad and I were able to sneak away for an entire day and go "play" in the snow. (aka: SKIING!!!)

I know I have said it in the past, but I NEVER expected to like skiing this much. It is a chance to challenge your body, but also your mind. The moment I stop and think about the steep parts the minute I find myself falling, but if I go with the flow I am able to attack the challenge. So freeing. One of the best parts? Being up there with Chad. Seeing him smile and being able to be apart of what he loves so much. I have a long ways to go before I can be anywhere near Chad's ability, but being able to be up on the "hill" with him is... wow.

Chad was in charge of the camera, hence all the pictures are of me. BOO!!! Our day was amazing.
