Blame Game?

Never thought I would get to this point...
I need to STAY OFF FACEBOOK!
My frustration, annoyance, tolerance and plain ol' lack of wanting to hear it from anyone else anymore is getting to be very high. I am NOT that type of person. But with so much going on in all parts of life, it seems everyone has some kind of input.
Government: The budget. Yep, we could loose pay. My hubby is a soldier. We would be affected directly. Some "friends" go about daily life as if that is not even an issue to them since it has nothing to do with what could directly impact their little bubble world. UGH! It DOES. Do they not get it? Get your head out of the clouds people. Our nation is in a tail spin. The budget is the least of our worries!
Health: Diets everywhere! I am so sick of hearing about friends, neighbors, those around me and mostly entertainment talking about DIETS. Have people not learned for BAJILLIONS of years that they don't work? Yeah, you may get "quick results" but that only lasts a short time and is hard on your body! Over 5 months I have lost weight through HARD work and eating wholesome food, but do you see people promoting that. NOPE. Why? Because it is hard and takes a lot of time. So please UP SHUT (yep, I meant to say that and will not apologize) about the diets. I don't want to hear it any more!
Kid's and their Food and Health: This is near and dear to me especially now with Lillian being diagnosed with "Childhood Asthma." It is hard not to try and point the blame at someone or something. Did I do something wrong or did I expose her to something or myself to something while pregnant? The answer is NO. Too many times with children we try and point the blame at health issues from weight and diseases at uncontrollable sources that are not necessary. That does not mean there are times it is the case, but really making kids buy school lunch and banning sack lunches is not the answer for controlling obesity in children. (YES! That is what one school district is trying to do. No joke. Google it!) There are celebrities trying to ban flavored milk at schools. REALLY? Um, my kids drink CHOCOLATE milk. I guess I need to be beaten and flogged publicly since I am putting my kids at risk for diabetes and obesity. Right? UGH. Get off your high horses of celebrity status and stop scaring well meaning parents. Maybe it is the only way we can get CALCIUM (you know that IMPORTANT bone growing thing) into our children.
Yep. Just those things alone get my blood boiling. They pop up on Facebook all too often and it is reason enough I should stay off more than not! Humph.
Maybe I will be flogged on here for writting some of this, I am not sure. Maybe I should just Up Shut, but I won't.
I love my children. I love Lillian's DEMANDS of "takut muk" (aka: chocolate milk) each morning. I love my soldier and his love and dedication to this country and his dedication to knowing what is going on in the government and not just sitting around being passive about it all. I also love the fact that my family all loves to eat wholesome food and is not picky about eating their fresh fruits and vegetables. The word diet is not heard in this house and my girls love to play and be active outside because it is fun not because they HAVE TO.
