Lillian got her very own "bling" a few weeks back. Daddy promised her earrings if she worked really hard at speech class. She has made a lot of strives and steps to improve in her sounds. Her pre-school teachers are seeing an improvement and her speech teacher is very pleased. (Yes, she has a long way to go, but it is a good step in the right direction.)
Her reward was pierced ears. She knew it would hurt; she knew it was needles in her ears; she knew it would be one at a time (after what happened with Hanna... don't ask!!!); she knew she would have to be careful; she knew she would have to take care of them; she knew she would not be able to change them for a long while. With all of that she was still excited. She would have diamonds like mommy and sisters!
