Am I Hearing Things?

It has been less than a week since Lillian had the ear tubes put in place. She is doing well. Her right ear drains a little more than I expected, but the doctor said the one that had the most "gunk" in it would drain.

As for hearing things, just 24 hours after the procedure I thought I was imagining things. I was hearing Lillian babble, talk and make new sounds. Lillian is not a big babbler or talker. She can, she just doesn't. Or should I said DIDN'T! I was shocked and thought it a fluke.

No fluke! She is expanding her vocabulary. I hear a new word every day and she is using the words she knows (but never really used often) on a more regular basis! I knew it was "possible" for this to happen, but didn't think her ears were that "clogged." Guess I was wrong, once again!
