Living in Missouri will not be misery! That is my goal. To make the BEST out of where we are. Yes, things are not as "city" and "civilized" as I am use to, but that is not always a bad thing.
For example, while getting my cable and Internet installed yesterday the older man (not old, just older... like my dad... love you dad!) smiled and asked if I had found my way around town. My answer was, "good enough." With a little grin he asked if I had checked out the water park down the hill. WHAT WATER PARK?!?!?!?!?!? He gave me directions... country style... "pass the bridge, turn at the gas station, the real one, not the one that is a restaurant, go past the police department... etc...
Long story short... look what we found today!!!
Thank you Mr. Cable Guy.
(A cable guy in Ohio would never have helped me or talked to me and given me pointers on the town... I like it!)
