Branson or Bust!

Last weekend we were in NEED of a family getaway. The kind with no schedule, no plans, just the knowledge of seeing friends and praying for lots of laughs.
We have family friends in Branson, MO. They are spoken of on here often, and with their permission they can be NAMED! Scott, Marla and Laura (they have two boys, too) embraced our family with open arms and laid ground for a WONDERFUL weekend.
There were lunches, dinners and coffee trips to Starbucks. Don't forget TWO amazing shows. One show had Laura's friend in it with ANDY WILLIAMS! You know the guy you grew up to listening to his Christmas album and the guy who did a little song titled "Moonriver." Ring a bell? Yeah, that guy!
There was a day date for Chad and I while Scott and Marla took the girls to a fish hatchery. Time at a park, lots of window shopping and of course the LAUGHS!
Nothing like being with friends who feel and ACT like family.
The weekend had much more to it than I can write, but I know that this was not the last weekend for our family to say, "Branson or Bust!"
