Back when Chad was in OBC he met Brandi. Chad's first duty station was Ft. Lewis (as was Brandi's) and that is where we met. Brandi and I got along from the get go and she welcomed me into their group of friends. 7 years later we still get chances to see each other (being stationed on opposite ends of the world, literally!!!).
This weekend we got a visit from her. It was like a mini-vacation for Chad and me. Gotta love long time friends and visits that feel like vacation.
