A Rocky Ending

The year 2011 wanted to go out with a BANG!
Madison got strep throat a few days before Christmas, then two days after Christmas I was in the clinic with Hannah and Lillian. Hannah has a bad sinus infection and Lillian had bronchitis. Not more than a few days go by and Chad takes himself to the ER in the middle of the night because he is struggling to swallow because of pain... he now has strep throat. The "funny" thing is, I was wanting to go to the ER too, but I figured him not being able to swallow well was a little more serious! So once morning came I went to the ER (since the clinics were closed for a training holiday) and sure enough I too have a sinus infection like Hannah but of course since I have evaded any sickies this fall/ early winter my body had to add an ear infection to the mix.
Yes, 2011 found its way out in our house with a BANG. We are ushering the "sickies" out and welcoming the healthy year of 2012 in as we are all on antibiotics and multivitamins as the new year is here. No worries, we are a team. None of use were all down at once. Someone was always "better" than someone else on any given day and willing to help get water, food, blankets, etc. The girls are learning to play together, help daddy and mommy and work as a family. The know what it means when we are sick. We are blessed!
