Off Without and Hitch... sort of

Madison's birthday was a success. We had an early morning with home-made cinnamon rolls and chocolate milk just as she requested. Then it was off to choir practice for the dress rehearsal. By 1:00 Mary and Deborah were to be at our house to head to the zoo. To my surprise Madison's friend from school showed up... they never RSVPd so I had NO IDEA the girl was coming, but more the merrier! ;o)

We conquered the zoo, ate cupcakes, gummy snacks and Capri-suns until they couldn't take any more sugar. Saw as many animals as possible and enjoyed the weather. It was a quick trip to pizza followed with cake at home. By the time the girls were bathed and in bed I think I FINALLY caught my breath. It had to have been one of the most FULL birthday DAYS ever.
