I always told Chad he would have to wait until our 30th anniversary to get his Harley Davidson... What was I thinking? I should have known it would be sooner than that.
For his 35th birthday I found him a used 2009 Fat Bob for a hefty amount under blue book value.
I guess I skipped 23 anniversaries ahead and he has it. Of course it took driving just north of Lexington, KY to pick the motorcycle up, we did not have an actual motorcycle trailer since they rented it out to someone else even though we had the reservation, the girls were up until 2am, a sprite was split down my back and had to sit in all the mess for the 4 hour drive home, the ball on the hitch almost came off (nothing like a run to a K-Mart in the middle of the night in a small town in Kentucky to find a pipe wrench)... that's right, even a simple trip to pick something up became an adventure for our family.

Obviously all of the adventure was worth it. Chad looks happy! You are a better wife than I am. Mike would love a motorcycle some day, but they just scare me to death. I would never tell him he couldn't have one, but I have told him that he has to triple his life insurance policy if he ever buys one. That will be my "I told you so" money if he gets killed riding the thing. Lol
