Doesn't mean that we have stopped having fun!
Our late afternoons and evenings are filled with homework. Madison and Hannah both need my help on each assignment. On top of the homework the school requests the kiddos read 30 minutes a night. Hannah is slowly getting back into the groove, Madison is on her THIRD chapter book of the school year (two weeks in).
In contrast from the school week, we have spent every weekend having some sort of fun in Virginia. Daddy took the girls and me to a movie (Ice Age III), a trip to the VA Aquarium (again) and simply being as a family (minus daddy most of the time since he is TDY and only gets home here and there).

It has been a HARD start to the school year in the academics realm, but each girl is determined to do their best. To reward that, we are making exciting activities when at all possible.
