Our Girls Are...

Doing great, sort of.

Lillian is still not in a Pre-K class so we continue to do "homeschooling" mommy's style. She begs to do work each day in her workbook and loves to sing me "learning" songs throughout the day.

Lillian working on her schoolwork. So determined.

Hannah strongly dislikes (may even be close to hates) waking up in the morning. Once she is up and moving she is blissfully happy, the issue is the first minute or two that I awaken her from deep glorious sleep.
Hannah not responding to her wake up call

30 minutes later, after breakfast of course, she is all smiles.

Madison made it two weeks without any illness. Unfortunately she is our first "casualty" of the school year. I got the call from the nurse Monday saying she had a fever and puss pockets on her throat. Turns out it was "Tonsil Stones" and a quick trip to the clinic and they were "on the mend." (I will not go into graphic detail... GAG!) She even woke with a smile today (Tuesday) and ready for school.

Madison all smiles this morning. Such a relief after yesterday's ordeal.

Yes, our girls are... doing great, sort of. Each school year takes time to ease into, and that is what we are trying to do. Yes, we are missing daddy, but NO we are able to keep going and love him on Skype each night.
