While mommy was working out this morning, Miss Hannah decided it was time to be GROSS!
Now try and remember that she is a very strong willed child. If you know my brother Jeff, well, she is him! ;o) I firmly believe she is NOT potty trained only because it gets her attention throughout the day. (yes, I am trying to get around this)
Anyways, after my workout I was greeted with a strong poopy diaper smell. Next thing I know I see poop on my carpet, COUCH, toys and clothes. Miss Hannah had pooped in her diaper, put her hands in it and proceeded to spread it on whatever she could find. I really only thought that was just a funny made up thing in movies. IT'S NOT! To make matters "worse" Madison tried to "help" mommy and drenched the couch in Woolite to try and "fix" the problem... ugh!
Thankfully a friend has an upolstry cleaner and is letting me borrow it for the weekend.
So far I have learned that these things happen in real life (not just movies)
- Kids stick things in outlets, usually metal
- Children can open childproof locks as early as 18 months
- They love to drink anything that is toxic or not
- Toilet water is true entertainment no matter what age
- Walls and other random objects are going to be colored on no matter how hard you try not to allow it
- Kids will always need one last hug for the night (not so bad :o)
- And today's lesson, they will poop and then proceed to spread it anywhere possible!!!

Ok... I am sure I am jinxing myself but I laughed my butt off reading that. I am so sorry but I think someday you may laugh too?? Maybe???
Ewwwwwwwww! I got poop on my finger the other day and thought I was going to die. If I had poop on half the things you listed I would've moved!!!! You're a trooper.
Just wanted to add that the poop was on my finger DURING a diaper change. I thought I would be specific :)
I left out the fact that she "tasted" her messy treat. :oP
