Her Eyes, Her School, Her Words

"I have sharp eyes!" ~ Madison
Once we got back to Maryland Madison started talking about her "sharp" eyes. She said she could use them on anything and get what she wanted or she could make things go away. Yes, SHARP eyes. I even got the "sharp" eye look yesterday (that did not end well on Madison's part) when I asked her to stop making so much noise. It was not until last night we learned where she got this phrase... O'MA! Thank you O'ma, however we understand you did not mean it to take on a new level of extreme.

"I am going to preschool to be smart." ~ Hannah
As O'ma and I were taking the girls around Dublin, OH to familiarize ourselves with the layout and streets, we were talking to Hannah about going to preschool. We stopped by two churches that we hope to place her in for school. When we told her that the schools were for her, she got so excited. She was going to go to preschool to be smart. All she can talk about now is going to preschool to be smart like Madison and make friends. Hannah talking and communicating her feelings is new to some. She has always talked to me, but becomes quiet around most people. With her talking so much lately, Chad is in utter shock.

"I wa oo. (I love you)" ~ Lillian
Yes, Lillian is starting to talk. Not very many words, but she her vocabulary is growing. Mama, dad, sisa (sister, aka Madison), nana (Hannah), bye, yeah, sis (this), nink (drink), etc. But, my most favorite of all... "I wa oo." It melts my heart. She just leans her head into you and says it. These are the moments in this move that make it worth it. She says it for all three girls.

The girls are growing and learning more each day. Still hard to think that Hannah is Madison's age when we moved here and Lillian is Hannah's age. Scary how time flies.
