Today was open house for Madison. She starts Kindergarten tomorrow. As we left open house she had a minor melt down. You see, she wanted to stay and learn and NOT go home. Chad says we will see how she feels as the year progresses!
Tomorrow she will get on the bus ALONE and ride to school. I am going to use my will power and NOT follow the bus. As a former teacher I know that is the right thing, as a mom my heart screams out begging me to follow the bus to protect my baby.
I promise to post first day pictures and her getting on the bus.

FOLLOW the bus!! Forget your teacher instincts and follow your heart. I say that because I too am a teacher but I would follow the bus in a heartbeat. You are not going to be crazy enough to let her know you are following, or get out of the car when she gets to school. How crazy to think that we have Kindergarteners!
