YES! I am "that" parent who tells their children that Santa is NOT real and that he is just another person in a costume. However, I do teach them about the REAL St. Nicholas that lived long ago and the story behind his kindness, love and generosity. In all of this my girls still love Santa. The chance to get a glimpse of him at the mall or talking about him is fun.
Saturday we went to the "fancy" mall to get the last present we needed to finish out our Christmas lists. The line to see Santa was out of control long, but Hannah and Madison snuck over to the side to get a peak. Hannah's face says it all.
