Tucked into Bed

The girls were being tucked in bed all snug and warm last night. I quickly made an exit so I could avoid the nightly, "I wants." (Of course the night I scoot out, there were none!) I went into our room to get ready for bed. Chad quickly came in to the room to share with me Madison's good night words...
"Daddy, when I get married someday I won't have you anymore! And I will miss you!"
Really? Really, Madison? It is so sweet, but WHY is my 5.5 year old thinking such things already! Madison, if you only knew how you have your daddy wrap around that finger of yours, always have and ALWAYS will.
As for her words being true, no, she will always have her daddy. I am living proof! ;o)
