Snow Time

1 inch of snow
2 little girls
3 long hours to wait
4 hands a freezing
5 happy smiles
That is what makes a snowman...

The girls loved getting out into our first real snow fall here in Ohio. Lillian was taking a nap the first go round, but joined in the fun later in the afternoon.
Daddy and the older girls made the first "girl" snowman and then later made the "boy" snowman with the help of our neighbor girl.

Madison was off and running seeming to know what to do, how the roll the snow and was showing she is a snow bunny in the making. She even made her OWN snowman that I was informed was a girl, NOT a boy.

Hannah shocked us! She never once complained of being cold, even when her mittens were soaking wet and her snow bibs got wet. She just kept playing, helping and smiling. I am so proud of our big girl who is usually found on the side lines. :o)

Lillian was not sure what to think about the snow, let alone what to do with it. After a few minutes of just standing on the porch staring at the "stuff" she got her barrings and headed out for some fun. She too shocked me and loved the snow, even falling it is a few times and smiling.

All this said, our trip to Colorado seems even more exciting. Knowing the girls have boots that kept their feet DRY and WARM, the coats and snow bibs fit and the LIKE being in it all, it should be an amazing trip.

Proof that they liked their outfits... the older girls wore them to the zoo this evening so they would stay warm and dry.

What an amazing day we had. God is so good to us and blesses us beyond our expectations.
