No, not mission as in missions trip, mission as in something that has to be done; STAT!
Lillian has decided to potty train herself. For a few weeks she has been going potty before her baths, then it became a habit once a day while her older sisters were gone to school, last night she stripped down to her birthday suit and screamed "POTTY, PEE PEE, POTTY" and bolted to the bathroom, grabbed the stool, plopped down on the potty and use the restroom. Really? Neither of the other girls did this. It was like pulling teeth with them and here Lillian is doing it without even being ASKED or suggested.
This left me with no choice. I scrounged up some of Hannah's smaller under"roos" and got them ready for this morning. Somehow Lillian is bigger than Hannah is the behind area, so they were a bit, snug. ;o) But they worked for the early morning. No accidents so far and we are into the late afternoon! We did stop by the PX to have her pick out some new under"roos" for herself, which is always FUN!
However I DOUBT she could have chosen a more difficult time. Daddy is still TDY, Madison is struggling with Strep Throat, I have to run Hannah to and from school (20 minutes each way) everyday, and I JUST BOUGHT A PACKAGE OF DIAPERS! Oh, and did I mention it is raining cats and dogs today? Yep, good call there Lilian.
Of course there is humor in it all, potty "training" that is. You have the falling into the toilet almost daily, the made dashes to the bathroom to make it JUST IN TIME to sit and wait for the pee for a good five minutes, oh and DO NOT forget the toilet paper. It is everywhere BESIDES the toilet, unless it is clogging the toilet.
Yes, our mission this week, get Lillian to follow through with what she CHOSE to start and I am by NO MEANS going to go back to diapers.
I will leave you with this picture of Lillian in her shirt she chose today, "Little Pixie, Big Attitude." Sums her up nicely if I say so myself. Love this girl!
