Summer is Still BLAZING Here

Man it was a HOT, HUMID, FUN weekend.

The girls and I got to visit with O'ma, go travel to see Daddy for a day and a half, and go to the Creation Museum in Kentucky.

The drive to KY was interesting. I "got" to pulled Chad's trailer EMPTY to him, all 10 hours, with traffic, semi trucks trying to ride in my lane, and campers swaying in the wind ready to topple on me as I tried to pass them at not fun speeds while towing an EMPTY trailer.

Of course there were the meltdowns from each girl all at different time, the food being tossed because it was not what the BEGGED for, and the MANY potty stops for all 5 of us girls all at different times. But, we made it to KY and the girls were like Mexican Jumping Beans when the say him... until almost mid-night!

O'ma was a blessing and helped in so many ways I can not explain, and even watched the girls while Chad and I got Madison's medicine (yep, she came down with Strep over the weekend).

Saturday was spent at the Creation Museum checking out the exhibits, but the best part for the girls was the petting zoo and of course the dinosaur exhibit. They LOVED the dinosaurs.

Sunday came all too quickly and O'ma, the girls and I were back on the road. It took 8 hours without the trailer, not too shabby, plus the help form O'ma made it totally doable.

It was hot, sticky, humid, muggy, crazy, busy and NEEDED!
