Earth Day

Madison had an Earth Day Celebration at school on Monday. It was POURING rain, thunder, lightening and we were under a tornado "watch" which is not as bad as a warning. Lillian and I dropped Hannah off at Pre-school and headed to Madison's school for the program. We tried to wait in the truck until there was a clearing in the clouds to make a drier run for the door, but it only got worse. The next best option was to wait until the thunder and lightening stopped long enough to use an umbrella. Oh the joys of living in tornado alley!

The little music program was cute. Madison did a great job. This year has been huge for her coming out of her shell and really opening up and becoming her own person. She did not get shy or quiet like usual when in a large setting. Daddy was able to make it to the program which is an unusual treat and Lillian claimed a spot on his lap the entire program. What a great 20 minute spot in a crazy weather day!
Great Job, Madison!
